The Position

This is an excellent opportunity in its Wellesville, New York
Manufacturing plant, one of three in the state of New York’s "Southern
Tier" region. The plant employs about 750 personnel. The HR Manager
reports directly to the HR Director-North America, with a dotted line to
the Plant General Manager; and manages a small staff.

Qualifications:	Background Required
The position requires an HR Generalist background; experience in
functional disciplines such as recruitment, labor relations, compensation
and benefits, training and development and employee relations are
essential to success. Seven-ten years of HR experience in a manufacturing
or related industry environment is required.

Other Key Credentials:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field. MBA or
MLIR, a plus
• Ability to work effectively with both engineering talent and blue collar
hourly employees.
• Experience in proactive labor negotiations, grievance process and
dealings with Union representation are essential.
• A positive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision
making.
• Skills in coaching and counseling managers on performance management
issues.
