Thursday from 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm ** ANNOUNCEMENT ** Command, Control and Interoperability Center for Advanced Data Analysis - CCICADA Research Group Lab Meeting Date/Time: Thursday, March 9, 2017/12:15pm to 1:00pm Location: Computing Research & Education Building (CoRE), Busch Campus, Rutgers, the State University of NJ 4th Floor Conference Room - 433 FEATURED SPEAKER: Katie L. McKeon, PhD Student and US DHS Fellow Department of Mathematics, Rutgers, the State University of NJ Title: The Effects of Network Topology on the Performance of Probe Schedulers Abstract: One strategy to monitor the performance of a network is to send test packets (or probes) periodically to check for faults or latency. The selection and schedule of probes should provide some balance between frequently testing vital links and minimizing any strain on the network. We investigate how features of the network topology affect the performance of some common probe scheduling choices. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
