Today is Day 5 of the 16 Days Campaign and International Women Human Rights Defenders Day. Learn more about Women Human Rights Defenders / and read the Take Action Kit Information Sheet #5 .

Activity: @MamaCash will support the @IM_Defensoras with a twitter explosion on November 29 (International Day for the Women Human Rights Defender) and asks people to sent as many messages of solidarity to WHRD's in Meso-America through Twitter (using #VogelvrijeVrouwen), between 4 and 6 PM (Amsterdam time). Your tweet gives her wings!

Activity: Our activities for the 16 Days Campaign include: 16 Men speak out against VAW , 16 Panel Discussions via Google+ Hangouts and Chats with women in the field , Live Blogging with the Red Elephant Foundation , Live Tweeting , Women and Peacebuilding Workshops Online and Offline , and Movie Screenings.

Region: Africa 
Country: Kenya 
Organization: The Coexist Initiative 
Activty: Our campaign activities and schedule include: a media practitioners breakfast Stakeholders Forum on the role of men and boys in eliminating gender-based violence (GBV), a GBV film and documentary festival, a live radio call-in show, I.E.C material distribution- Muthurwa retail market, and a men and boys procession. 
Dates: November 25 th – December 10 th
