Activity: A screening of the movie “Tough Guys, Violence, Media, and Media Gender Crisis” followed by a discussion on the topic. Martin Dziurok of the Crisis Intervention Society will also be speaking at the event.

Region: Pacific 
Country: Australia 
Organization: Onkaparinga Collaborative Approach for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Indigenous Family Violence 
Activity: As part of the 16 Days Campaign, our organization will be operating a stall at the Aldinga Shopping Centre. The stall will feature a static display of decorated, adorned and ornamented shoes to illustrate the strength and courage of women who have ‘walked away from Domestic Violence’. Each shoe will have a personal and positive story of a woman who has stepped into a new and different life. The stall will also be providing free activities such as face painting and badge-making for children.

Region: Online/Belgium 
Activity: is a youth radio station and MediaLab of the University Of Ghent, Belgium. In this episode, dedicated to the 16 Days Campaign, I call on women to speak up, not to be afraid to tell own their stories. As I have experienced violence myself, I own my story, and I want to encourage people that it's ok.
