PROGRAM:
Erica Isaac and Afifa Azim will discuss AWN's efforts to further social justice for women in post-Taliban Afghanistan. Featuring a multimedia presentation and first-hand narrative, they will discuss their experiences working with women in Afghanistan in crisis, including many being held in prison, countless seeking refuge from domestic abuse, and others who are leading the efforts to build community-based support for those in need.

Afghan Women's Network is non-partisan network of women and women's NGOs working to empower Afghan women and ensuring their participation in Afghan society.
